It just goes to show that you shouldn't believe all you read. I was convinced I saw the SY 8mm on a list of bad lenses. I'll get mine out. Clap

My enthusiasm has expensively hit the buffers though. Rather typically I bought mine just before they added the electronics and chip (Nikon mount) to allow proper communication of the exposure data to cheaper cameras. My D300s (standard) handles this like a champ as it is slightly more advanced and gives a readout of the aperture and exposure metering. On the D80IR and D90IR however it just sits there like a big lemon and no exposure metering or transfer of F stop is possible so the only way you could use it would be to use a seperate light meter :( BUMMER! I never anticipated using lower level cameras.

So I've ordered the new model and will have to take a hit on selling the hardly used Mk1 model. Will I ever stop buying gear?

Very nice, especially love, how the curve of the horizon balances out the composition.

thank's, the tree as a strange position, not straight on the floor.
With the help of the Fisheye lens, i've been able to take this picture :)
